Watched the last episode of Skins, 1st generation, the first 2 seasons. Skins is not well know in Europe (except in the UK, of course), it just came out on DVD, and I think this might be the best teen drama show I’ve ever seen. Teen drama, yes, but It’s not targeted toward adolescents: the characters are teenagers, sure, but that’s it. Skins is often rated 18+ (12+ in France). The show is an emotional roller coaster, rushing through sad, hurtful, lonely and beautiful moments, filled with drugs, love, anger, sex, friendship, hate, … and dealing with issues like religion, sexuality, sickness, race, loss, … A wicked show. I’m hooked. Skins on TV.com

Let’s recap: first, New MacBook Pros and then Snow Leopard, shipping for $29 (!) this fall. Next, the iPhone OS 3.0 (going live June 17th) and, last but not least, the brand new iPhone 3GS, out June 19th. I can’t help being just a little disappointed about the iPhone 3GS. Sure, it’s a nice upgrade but I wanted a little more. Otherwise, really great keynote. Can’t wait for the new OSs.
Today, I voted for the European Elections (and the Belgian Regional Election). I hope my vote will defend free speech, clean energy, free trade, new and growing industries, … Unfortunately, most of the campaign in Belgium focused on petty details, because between Waloons and Flemish, it’s like our Facebook status is always set on “It’s complicated” and we’re not able to talk about something else. Oh well…
Pictured is the campaign run by the European Parliament in my city, Brussels.
