Skins is not well know in Europe (except in the UK, of course), it just came out on DVD, and I think this might be the best teen drama show I’ve ever seen. Teen drama, yes, but It’s not targeted toward adolescents: the characters are teenagers, sure, but that’s it. Skins is often rated 18+ (12+ in France). The show is an emotional roller coaster, rushing through sad, hurtful, lonely and beautiful moments, filled with drugs, love, anger, sex, friendship, hate, … and dealing with issues like religion, sexuality, sickness, race, loss, … A <i>wicked</i> show.
